Province of East Kent - a caring Province

We are pleased to announce the Province’s first ever dinner, specifically for Lodge and Chapter Charity Stewards and those with an interest in Masonic Charity. We are hoping for a good turnout so an early booking is recommended.

At the inaugural Provincial Charity Stewards Dinner we are delighted to announce that we have a special guest Suhail Alam, Finance and Development Director to the Freemasons’ Grand Charity who will give a talk on the excellent work of the Grand Charity.

There will also be a short address by W Bro Brian Powell, APGM responsible for Charity and W Bro Wayne Smith, Provincial Charity Steward.

The event is to be attended by the Provincial Grand Master RW Bro Geoffrey Gordon Dearing and it would be a tremendous opportunity for you all to meet and engage with fellow Charity Stewards who are striving to make our Festival pledge a reality, in a relaxed social setting.

The evening will start at 6.30pm for 7pm to be followed by dinner at about 7.45 pm. The event should end at about 10pm and I do hope that you will be able to be present.

The evening is to be informal with lounge suits and no regalia. Dinner, excluding drinks, will be available for ticket holders only at a cost of £16.00 per head. Requests should be made no later than Friday, 8 March 2013, using the attached Booking Form. Unfortunately due to limited space, invitations are not extended to partners on this occasion.

As you know we are about to start the last year of the 2014 Festival and this evening will give you a great chance to keep up to date and also learn about the Festival Closing Event which is to be held on 28 June 2014 at the Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone.
