The Association of Patrons
Formed in 2011 to coincide with its extensive redevelopment, the purpose of the Association of Patrons is to support the Kent Masonic Library & Museum financially in any way that it can and to consistently help to raise its profile, both internally with Freemasons and externally across all sections of society in Kent and beyond.
Our aims are simple, to - Preserve the past, Engage the present & Secure the future.
To do this we need support. Despite every member of staff volunteering their time, it costs at least £15,000 a year just to open and maintain the Library & Museum. Entrance is free and we wish to retain this openness and accessibility to all.
The Province of East Kent makes a generous annual donation towards the Trust's running costs, yet there is always more that we can and want to do. This is where you can help by becoming a patron. Not only will you be helping a worthy cause but you will also gain from the
benefits of your membership.
Applications are invited from individuals. You need not be a Freemason, just someone who has an interest in preserving the Library & Museum from a Masonic or anthropological perspective.
Annual membership is available from only £25.00 and includes benefits such as:
VIP invitations to the Library & Museum for guided talks and tours
A Free quarterly newsletter
Reduced prices and early notification of special events
Patrons only events and private tours
Download an information leaflet and application form.
