At their annual Christmas dinner Tankerton Lodge No.5153 made three presentations totalling £1,500.

The photograph shows the Worshipful Master WBro Jim Martin presenting a cheque for £500 to Charles Fagg, who received it on behalf of the charity for prostate cancer. WBro Ken Dabson PPrDGSwdB and WBro George Baldwin both Past Masters of the Graveney Court Lodge No.8637 also presented like amounts during their years. On the right is Tankerton Lodge Almoner, WBro Henry Frend.

The Lodge also presented £500 to Rev. Joyce Outen for the St Alphege Church, Whitstable, appeal, as well as a cheque for £500 to Mrs D Cheeseman, Vice Chairperson of the Friends of Whitstable and Tankerton Hospital.

All the recipients and their partners were guests of the Lodge who enjoyed a four course dinner, with carols and dancing.

Further funds will be donated at the end of the year to the 2004 Festival.
