The Challenging Behaviour Foundation, a small national charity
founded by a parent from Gillingham and now supporting families across the UK,
received a cheque for £12,000 from The Grand Charity. The cheque was presented
by the Provincial Grand Master, the Rt.W Bro. Michael Robin Bailey, on
Thursday 7th. February at the Foundation’s Headquarters at the Old Court
House, Chatham.
The unique work of the Challenging Behaviour Foundation, providing resources
and support to families caring for individuals with severe learning
disabilities, has earned the Challenging Behaviour Foundation a growing
national reputation in this specialist field. The grant from The Grand Charity
will support the work of the Challenging Behaviour Foundations Family Support
Worker, who runs the Challenging Behaviour Foundations parents linking scheme
and email networks and provides individual telephone support to families.
